La météorite Taoudenni

Dans Achondrite type VESTA HED: diogénite

Trouvée en 2007 à Gao au Mali, d'un poids de 24,37kg, cette achondrite est classée Diogénite.

Néanmoins l'exemplaire présenté fut trouvé le 31 octobre 2020, près des ruines de la prison de Taoudenni dans le nord du Mali (voir texte en anglais de la certification de J.Higgins, imca#9822), poids de l'échantillon : ~5gr

"A new highly delaited classification i had done by Anthony Love at Appalachian State University was submitted with gps coordinates and was approved as the same Taoudenni meteorite found in 2007. Not a pairing/its official, this specimen was found on october 31 2020 near Taoudenni prison ruins northern mali africa."
